Takers is a metalcore/alternative metal band based out of Indianapolis, Indiana. Known for their blend of punishing heaviness, cinematic atmosphere, and emotional honesty. Influenced by modern metalcore artists like Bad Omens, Asking Alexandria, Of Mice and Men, and Like Moths to Flames, Takers channels a sound that's both visceral and melodic, reflecting each member's diverse musical predilections.

In 2023, the founding members of the band, Alex Peterson, Leo Durbin, Greg Miller, and Kory Rogers decided the band needed a professional rebranding. After finding new members, and working with new producer(s), the band has released 10 songs onto 2 separate EP's that showcase their evolution and renewed creative focus. In December 2024, Takers suffered the loss of their original guitarist and close friend, Kory Rogers. A moment that reshaped the band both personally and artistically, a turning point that reshaped their sound and strengthened their resolve. Following the transition of Stacey Hopkins from bass to guitar, the band welcomed Aaron Stafford on bass.

Takers is now solidified as Alex Peterson (vocals), Leo Durbin (drums), Greg Miller (guitar), Stacey Hopkins (guitar), and Aaron Stafford (bass). 

Having performed alongside artists such as Archers, Dark Divine, If Not For Me, and Fight From Within, Takers continues to build momentum within the modern heavy music scene. The band is currently focused on expanding their live reach with more out of state shows and releasing new music more frequently as they enter this next chapter.
